The Goat Hotel

The Goat Hotel is a 17th century former coaching inn situated in the small riverside town of Llanfair Caereinion. Easily located off the A458, with plenty of free parking, the hotel is close to many walking and cycling routes in the area. Guests receive a warm welcome from longstanding owners Richard and Alyson.

Each of the 5 guest bedrooms are equipped with a TV, telephone and hospitality tray. There are double rooms and a large family suite, 3 of which have a private bathroom. Guests are provided with a key to come and go as required. A full cooked Welsh or continental breakfast is served in the morning to help start the day.

The bar offers a wide range of drinks, including real Welsh ale and changing guest beers from a local border brewery. There is a hearty pub food menu available at lunchtimes and in the evening. In our homely lounge bar, guests can relax on the large leather sofa in front of our roaring log fire during the winter months
