Tyn-y-Castell Cottage

Tyn-y-Castell Cottage is a beautifully-furnished self-catering chalet situated in the Elan Valley, 4 miles south of the town of Rhayader. Offering a peaceful and secluded setting, surrounded by open countryside and ancient woodland, it is perfect for walkers, cyclists or those who enjoy the outdoors. Dogs are also welcome.

Sleeping 4 to 6, there is a light and airy sitting room with dual-aspect windows providing panoramic views across to the hilltops; with comfy seating, a wood burning stove, TV, telephone and dining table. There is also a conservatory, a kitchen, double bedroom, a room with adult-sized bunk beds and a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a patio area with table and chairs, where you can watch the red kites soaring above, and off-road parking. Wifi is available throughout and there are storage heaters in every room. As well as walking and cycling, there are many activities to try in the local area including fishing, climbing, kayaking and mountain biking.
