Highgate

Highgate is a beautiful 17th century farmhouse offering bed and breakfast accommodation on a family farm, just 3 miles north of Newtown in Mid-Wales. A Grade II listed building with a striking black and white exterior and beamed ceilings, it provides a characterful, comfortable place to stay. In the Severn Valley and along Sustrans Route 81, it is an ideal choice for cyclists and walkers. Car parking is available.

Guest rooms are comfortably furnished, with original exposed wooden beams adding to the charm. Bedrooms are equipped with a double bed, seating and a television. Guests are also very welcome to relax in the spacious lounge with its wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace, or in the garden during good weather. Newtown is situated on the banks of the River Severn and dates from the 13th century. Set in the heart of Powys, the town is an ideal base for exploring mid-Wales.
