Craig Y Nos Castle Hotel

Craig Y Nos Castle stands in the southern part of the Brecon Beacons National Park, along the River Tawe. This Victorian-Gothic country house, formerly owned by opera singer Adelina Patti, offers Visit Wales 3-Star rated facilities with guest rooms, self-catering accommodation, a bar and restaurant. The castle is a popular venue for weddings, other special occasions, conferences and ghost tours.

There are a variety of luxurious guest rooms available, with 36 available altogether. Choose from budget rooms with shared bathrooms, en suite bedrooms with double or twin beds, wheelchair-accessible rooms, dog-friendly rooms, spacious apartments for 4 guests or the elegant Bridal Suite with its beautiful canopy bed and slipper bath. Bed and breakfast or half board rates are available.

The Nurses Block is also available for those who prefer self-catering. Offering hostel-style rooms with a lounge, kitchen and garden, it can be booked by room or exclusively for groups of up to 20 people. All overnight guests can use the gym, hot tub, bar, restaurant and enjoy a free historical tour. Adjoining the castle are its landscaped grounds, which now serve as a beautiful country park.
