Hendre Ddu Cottage

Hendre Ddu Cottage offers a quiet and relaxing retreat in a beautiful secluded valley in the Dyfi forests of Snowdonia. Located near the small village of Aberangell, the cottage was originally built as a Victorian quarry worker’s residence and was extensively restored to its former glory in 2008, with a few modern touches.

Up to 6 people can stay in this charming self-catering cottage with its exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and original fireplace. The lounge has a wood burning stove, 2 sofas, Freesat TV, Blu-ray player and a payphone. The lovely farmhouse kitchen is well-equipped including a range cooker, CD player and dining table / chairs.

There are 3 bedrooms, including 2 doubles and a twin room in the attic; and 2 bathrooms, one with a Victorian claw footed bath and the other with a shower. The electricity for the cottage is derived from solar panels. Guests can enjoy the large garden with its decking area, woodland and car parking. Pets are allowed.
