Yr Hen Stablau

Yr Hen Stablau is a wheelchair-accessible holiday cottage situated in the Dyfi Valley, in Pantlludw, near Machynlleth. Awarded a Visit Wales 4-Star rating with a Gold Award for Green Tourism, this mid-19th century stable has been sensitively renovated to provide a self-catering home for 6 guests, with dogs also welcome.

The cottage has a light and airy living room with a 3-piece suite, cosy wood burning stove, television, DVD player and French doors leading to the outside terrace. There is a well-equipped kitchen, with characterful exposed stone walls and a beamed ceiling, also including a handy washing machine and a dining table / chairs.

The downstairs bedroom can be set up as a twin or with a super king bed and there are 2 twin rooms upstairs, with the original timber trusses still visible. The downstairs wet room has a walk-in shower and grab rails, and there is an additional WC upstairs. Central heating and Wifi are available throughout the cottage. Outside, there is a large garden with a slate terrace, a lawn, nature trail and car parking with an EV charger.
