The Old Coach House

The Old Coach House is a charming stone cottage, located next to the River Dyfi, between the market towns of Machynlleth and Dolgellau, on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Visit Wales 4-Star rated, with a Green Tourism Gold Award, it provides a self-catering holiday home for 2 people.

Inside, there is a comfortable open plan living area with an electric wood-burning effect stove, sofas, television, DVD player, well-equipped kitchen and a small library of books and DVDs. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a king size bed which can also be arranged as a twin room if preferred, and a shower room.

A welcome pack of essentials and homemade cakes, jams and eggs from our own hens will be waiting on arrival to help you settle in. Guests are welcome to use the shared riverside garden and pick the fruit and vegetables when in season. There is also a wildlife pond and a beehive. Walkers and cyclists are welcome.
