Ty Derw Country House B&B

Ty Derw Country House is a licensed B & B situated on the outskirts of the village of Dinas Mawddwy on the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park. A former Victorian slate miners’ home, with plenty of parking, this is an ideal choice for stopovers, short breaks and holidays. There is also an on-site falconry for those interested in wildlife.

All 4 guest rooms are individual and decorated in their own attractive, individual style. Cwrt Celyn is a king size bedroom on the ground floor with light-filling dual-aspect windows; the spacious Foel Dinas can be set up as a king or a twin room as preferred, and Camlan and Cefn Coch both have a king size bed with views across the valley.

Each bedroom is equipped with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a TV, free Wifi, Amazon Echo Dot and hospitality tray. A full cooked Welsh breakfast is served in the morning, with options for vegetarian and vegan diets available. There is car parking, and guests can enjoy falconry experiences with our resident birds of prey.
