Golden Lion Hotel

The Golden Lion Hotel is an independent Grade II listed grand Georgian building situated in Four Crosses near Llanymynech. Located directly on the Offa’s Dyke Path, we welcome those passing through the village or visitors looking for a comfortable base for a short break or holiday. Room-only or bed and breakfast rates are available.

There are single, double, twin and triple rooms, each with their own private facilities, complimentary toiletries, TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray for making tea and coffee. Guests can relax in their room and then come down in the evening to enjoy our hotel bar, restaurant or our entertainment / party packages as available.

The restaurant is open during the evening, serving traditional home cooked food, with options for vegetarian and vegan diets on request. Groups can be accommodated. There is a trail biking centre, golf course and fishing sites all nearby and many places to visit including Powys Castle and Hofman Kiln Heritage Museum.
