Laurel Bank

Welcome to Laurel Bank, a modern bed and breakfast situated in scenic Abbeycymhir. An historic village shrouded in stories from folklore, with ruins of the 12th century Cistercian monastery still visible, it is also ideally placed for Glyndŵr's Way and National Cycle Route 25 for travellers looking for a convenient stopover.

There are 3 bedrooms including a king room, a double room and a twin room, all with en suite or private bathroom facilities, a television, Wifi access and beverage tray for making tea and coffee. A full Welsh breakfast is served in the morning to ensure a good start to the day and evening meals can be provided.

Car parking is available. There is an inn located in the village and Abbey Cwmhir Hall is a Georgian style house built in 1833 which is open to the public as an attraction. Laurel Bank is a short drive from the Red Kite Feeding Centre at Rhayader and the beautiful Elan Valley reservoirs for those who enjoy fishing and water activities.
