Thomas Shop

The Thomas Shop is an interesting Grade II listed guest house with a museum, tea rooms and gallery, situated in Penybont on the A44 road, near Llandrindod Wells. Full of curiosities and artefacts from the past, guests enjoy comfortable accommodation and delicious food. Walkers and cyclists are welcome.

The Meeting House can be hired as a self-catering holiday home for 6, or on a B & B basis for 1 to 5 guests. Upstairs, there is an attic bedroom featuring a super king bed, a single bed and a futon bed, and downstairs, there is a living room with double sofa bed, a dining area, kitchenette and wet room.

Breakfast, packed lunches and light suppers can be arranged if required. There is secure storage for bicycles and drying facilities. The Engine Room Café is open to all for refreshments, and the free museum provides authentic demonstrations of the shops between the early 1800s to the mid-1900s.
