Gilestone Farm

Gilestone Farm offers a 7-bedroomed self-catering Georgian farmhouse and 3 safari glamping tents in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Less than a mile outside Talybont and 6 miles south-east of Brecon, this accommodation provides a peaceful and scenic location for holidays. Walkers, cyclists and well-behaved dogs are welcome at Gilestone and there are superb walking and outdoor trails from the front door.

The farmhouse has 2 sitting rooms with a TV / DVD player, plus a spacious farmhouse kitchen with a flagstone floor, Aga, American-style fridge freezer and large dining table. The back kitchen has further facilities and to the rear of this room is a downstairs shower room and WC. There is also a conservatory leading to a decked area outside. The bedrooms comprise a twin, 3 doubles, a king size, 4-poster and single room. There are also 2 bathrooms. The property has extensive gardens with a stream.

The glamping tents Goshawk and Buzzard both sleep 6, and Dove sleeps 4 people. All have a living area with sofas, armchairs, wood burning stove, dining table and a kitchenette with running water, fridge and microwave. There are separate bedrooms with proper double or twin beds and a private pod with WC, basin and shower. Outside each is a covered decking area with a picnic bench and private wood-fired hot tub.
