The Smithery Bed & Breakfast

The Smithery Bed and Breakfast is a Grade II listed former weaver’s home along the banks of the Rochdale Canal in Hebden Bridge. Offering a comfortable place to stay for walkers and cyclists passing through the town, or a holiday base for exploring the Pennines, there is public parking nearby and the railway station is only 2 minutes’ walk.

There are 2 bedrooms at this B & B. Canalside is a double bedroom overlooking the canal and Brontë has a set of adult-sized bunk beds. Both rooms are attractively furnished and well-equipped with free Wifi access, a hairdryer, bathrobes and a hospitality tray for making hot drinks. There is use of a shared shower room.

Choose from a full cooked English, full vegetarian or vegan breakfast, served in the breakfast room in the morning, which has views across the canal and a roaring fire in the inglenook fireplace. The town has many independent shops, places to eat and attractions, including the Picture House cinema just a short walk away.
