YHA Langdon Beck

YHA Langdon Beck is a 33-bed rural hostel situated in Upper Teesdale. A quarter of a mile from the Pennine Way, at just over the halfway point, it provides a comfortable stopover for a host of travellers including walkers, cyclists, canoeists and families exploring the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There are 33 beds split across 8 bedrooms, all of which have views overlooking the hills of the North Pennines. There is a private en suite bedroom for 5 people, a 2 and 4 bed private room and 4 and 8-bed dormitories which can be booked as private rooms or as separate male and female bunk room accommodation.

There are communal toilets and showers, a lounge / diner with wood burning stove, equipped self-catering kitchen, drying room and cycle storage. Exclusive bookings are available for groups or expeditions. High Force waterfall and Bowlees Visitor Centre are within 3 miles. The nearest town is Middleton-in-Teesdale.
