West Hury Farm Cottages

In a scenic rural setting in the Upper Teesdale Valley, West Hury Farm Cottages are 3 excellent self-catering cottages for 2 to 4 people, overlooking Hury Reservoir and close to the Pennine Way, about 7 miles from Barnard Castle. This accommodation is perfect for walking, fishing or family holidays and dogs are welcome.

Howgill Cottage is a cosy studio-style cottage for 2 guests, with a double bed in the living / sleeping area. Lonin Cottage sleeps 3 people in a double bedroom and single bedroom. Gainsborough View Cottage has stunning views across Gainsborough Hill from the master double bedroom and also has a twin room. All cottages have an open log fire, TV, fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom / en suite and private garden area.

The cottages have miles of walks from the doorstep and there is fishing on the reservoir and an abundance of outdoors activities to enjoy and attractions to see in the area, including ‘Hannah’s Meadows’ a short walk away, made famous by local farmer Hannah Hauxwell and the television series.
