River Cottage

River Cottage is situated on the banks of the Tees in the pretty village of Gainford, between Barnard Castle and Darlington. A beautiful self-catering cottage accommodating up to 9 guests, overlooking the water with private fishing available along the adjoining stretch of the river, this cottage is perfect for family or group holidays.

All on ground floor level, the cottage has a spacious living room with a comfortable seating area featuring leather sofas, a remote-controlled electric fire and a TV with Netflix. This room leads into the conservatory area with Rattan seating and a circular dining table. The stylish kitchen has all the latest facilities, with a breakfast bar.

There are 4 bedrooms; a master king size bedroom with en suite equipped with a spa bath and shower, plus a twin bedroom, King size and a triple room. The house wet room has a walk-in shower, spa bath and mood lighting. Dogs are also allowed at the cottage. There are an abundance of walks, attractions and activities in the local area.
