Mill House Bed & Breakfast

Mill House Bed and Breakfast is a family-owned 17th century former mill and granary with guest rooms and a self-catering apartment, situated in the village of Kirk Yetholm. Located at the end of the Pennine Way and the mid-point of the St Cuthbert’s Trail, we provide a restful haven for walkers, cyclists or tourists exploring the Scottish Borders and offer a ‘Taste Our Best Award’ winning breakfast in the morning.

There are 5 bedrooms in the main house, including River View, a flexible twin / double size room on the top floor offering panoramic views, with Valley View offering a king size bed and river / hillside views. Mill Suite has a king size bed and lounge area featuring a double sofa bed for 2, 3 or 4 guests and is ideal for families. The Woodlands Suite also has a super king size bed, seating area and private covered balcony. The Granary is a twin room on the ground floor with improved accessibility for guests with disabilities. All guests staying in our bedrooms enjoy a superb breakfast and packed lunches can also be arranged.

For self-catering, Mill House also has the ground floor and dog-friendly Wheel House Apartment for 2 to 3 guests, equipped with its own spacious lounge with sofa bed, modern kitchen, large double bedroom and wet room.
