Mains of Taymouth Cottages are a collection of luxurious self-catering holiday homes nestled on a picturesque 120-acre country estate on the edge of the Tay Forest and Loch, in Kenmore, near Aberfeldy. Each Visit Scotland 4 or 5-Star rated, on-site facilities include a golf course, riding stables, bar, brasserie, delicatessen and shop.

There are a wide variety of properties to choose from, including the traditional Mains Cottages, converted from the 19th century former farm buildings. The smallest of these is a 1-bedroomed cottage for 2 guests and the largest sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms. In addition, The Farmhouse is a large detached home for 12 people with its own hot tub and sauna. The Castle Gardens are upside-down cottages sleeping 6 people in each.

In addition, there are also large houses, Bruadairs, for 8 to 10 people, with private hot tubs, spacious 2-bedroomed The Gallops apartments for 4, or the cosy 1 and 2-bedroomed villas, The Maxwells. Dogs are allowed in some of the properties. The Courtyard Bar and Brasserie is a lovely place to eat or drink. For the winter time, there are log burning stoves and for better weather, an outside decking area for eating and drinking ‘al fresco’.
