Thames House

Thames House is an attractive period town house offering comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in the High Street of Wallingford, a quintessential and historic English market town on the banks of the River Thames. Guests at Thames House receive a warm welcome and excellent hospitality from host Jackie.

The double bedroom provides space for a great night’s sleep. If additional accommodation is required, there is also a twin room on the top floor with shared facilities. The front room has a cosy log burner and provides an additional space in which to relax or work. A delicious continental breakfast is provided. There is public car parking at the rear of the house which is free after 5pm.

Attractions in the town include the castle ruins, set in beautiful gardens. Wallingford is celebrated for its independent shops and the town plays host to regular markets, selling great local produce, crafts and gifts. Take part in a Midsomer Murders Trail and explore the real-life locations for the popular TV series, or visit Wallingford Museum to discover the secrets of the town’s past.
