The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds is a family and dog-friendly pub located in the South Oxfordshire village of Uffington in beautiful countryside surroundings. The pub has 4 Star B & B accommodation, a beamed bar, food service, a garden area, car park and wonderful views of The Ridgeway and prehistoric Uffington White Horse figure. Walkers and cyclists are welcome.

Situated in the Vale of White Horse, off the A420 road between Oxford and Swindon, Uffington is also only 8 miles north of the M4 motorway. The nearest market towns are Faringdon and Wantage. Popular with walkers, the Ridgeway National Trail, popularly known as ‘Britain’s oldest road’, follows the same route over the high ground used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers.
