Old Swan and Minster Mill

Located just 15 miles from Oxford and 11 miles from Blenheim Palace, The Old Swan, dating from 1445, is nestled in 65 acres of idyllic grounds in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell. This English inn blends the rural charm of its historic setting with contemporary design and luxurious comfort in our guest accommodation, also with delicious food menus crafted from the best seasonal, local produce.

There are 15 beautiful guest rooms and suites available. Choose from Classic, Superior and Deluxe Rooms, the Garden Suite or Swan Cottage with its 3 double bedrooms. Each bedroom is individual in design, blending characterful historic features of the building with luxury. The inn is a dog-friendly hotel and a limited number of rooms are available if you are travelling with your pets.

The Old Swan's dining rooms and bars offer rustic beams, roaring log fires and flagstone floors. There are a choice of dining rooms, or enjoy the outdoor terrace and gardens throughout the good weather of the summer months. Dogs are permitted in the bar area only of The Old Swan. Located just over the road is our sister property, Minster Mill, with a restaurant, bar and riverside terrace.
