The Gate Hangs High

The Gate Hangs High is a traditional country pub with beamed ceilings, guest accommodation and a small campsite, situated in Hook Norton between the market towns of Banbury and Chipping Norton. There is free car parking and the pub is located near the edge of the Cotswolds.

The guest bedrooms are equipped with a TV, Wifi access and hospitality tray, with some having bathtubs and private entrances. The campsite provides pitches for tourers and tents with 2 toilets, a shower, chemical waste disposal, recycling waste bins and a water tap.

Enjoy a drink from the bar, either in front of the fire or outside in the garden. The bar is dog-friendly. Great food is served throughout the day, including vegetarian, vegan and children’s options. Regular live entertainment and events are held at the pub.
