For a luxurious short break or holiday on the edge of the Cotswolds, Uplands House Bed and Breakfast in Upton is set back from the A422 road, 6 miles from Banbury and on the road to Stratford-on-Avon. Each of the 3 guest bedrooms has its own style and theme. The Four Poster Room has a country garden feel, with an elegant Georgian mahogany bed, colourful fabrics and views over the rose garden from both the bedroom and adjoining private bathroom. The Chinese Room can be arranged as a super king or with twin beds and features authentic Chinese rice paper paintings, a gilded sofa and private bathroom. The Tulip Room is a cosy double with Louis VI furniture and water colour paintings from the 18th century, plus a private bathroom.

Wifi and refreshments are available and guests can also relax in the spacious drawing room or outside in the garden during fine weather. In the morning, the breakfast menu includes options such as home-made muesli, a cooked English, smoked salmon, kedgeree and kippers. Guests are also welcome to join the hosts for an evening meal by arrangement. Vegetarian or other dietary requirements are happily accommodated, but please inform the owners in advance of your stay. High quality locally-sourced ingredients are used in all our dishes.
