Carpenters Bed and Breakfast is a Grade II listed building and former pub, known locally as 'The Axe', situated in the village of Brize Norton. Dating back to the 1600s and built from local Cotswold stone, all the rooms provide modern comforts and there is car parking available. Owners Ray and Janet offer a very warm welcome.

Choose from single, double and 2 twin rooms which can also be arranged with super king beds if preferred. All guest rooms are equipped with en suite shower facilities, free Wifi, a TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray for making in-room tea and coffee. A delicious breakfast is served in the morning to ensure a good start to the day.

There is a pub and café a short walk away, with many more shops, places to eat and leisure facilities in Carterton which is within a mile-and-a-half. RAF Brize Norton is just a couple of minutes' drive away, we are also near local wedding venues. A regular local bus service to Oxford stops in the village
