Burton Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Burton Farmhouse is a traditional country farmhouse bed and breakfast situated in Galmpton, South Devon. There are 10 en-suite bedrooms, including twin, double and family rooms. We also have a ground floor room with facilities for those with disabilities and access needs. Well-resourced, all come with TV, hospitality tray, alarm clock radio and hairdryer. Breakfast includes a hearty Full English, and guests are welcome to relax in our licensed bar. We use a range of local Devon produce.

Galmpton is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is popular with walkers, cyclists and those seeking watersports activities. It is within walking distance to Hope Cove with its two sandy beaches. Mouthwell Sands to the north is the nearest beach to the car park. The longer Harbour beach sits just to its south, and the two are easily accessible. Nearby Kingsbridge is a market town, situated on a tidal estuary with a good range of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, cinema and a leisure centre. The bi-monthly farmers market is worth visiting as well as the Food and Music Festival in June and Fair Week in July. This is a superb base for your holiday in Devon.
