Lochranza Hotel

Lochranza Hotel is a welcoming place to stay in this historic village on the northern coast of Arran. Offering great-tasting food, a friendly bar, comfortable rooms and scenic views across the bay towards Lochranza Castle, there is car parking, and buses to Blackwaterfoot and Brodick stop outside the hotel. Guests can also take the ferry from Lochranza across to Claonaig on the Kintyre Peninsula.

There are a selection of comfortable bedrooms including single, double, twin, triple and family size rooms for 4 guests. Some offer sea views, and all have en suite facilities, a TV and hospitality tray. A delicious breakfast is served in the morning, and coffee, afternoon tea and evening meals are available in the restaurant. The bar stocks a range of drinks from real ales to a wide selection of malt whiskies.

Lochranza is located on the loch, Loch Ranza, from which it takes its name. The village is surrounded by hills and faces the imposing ruins of its castle, set dramatically on a curved shingle spit in the loch. Lochranza Golf Course is a 9 hole pay-and-play course across the road from the Isle of Arran Distillery which produces the Arran Single Malt.
