For a luxurious holiday in the Fife countryside, come to Sandford Country Cottages just 3 miles outside Newport-on-Tay. Situated in the grounds of an historic B listed country house, each cottage or apartment has been renovated to a high standard, with Visit Scotland 5-Star rated self-catering facilities, set within 7 acres of gardens.

Baillie Scott and Valentines sleep 4, whereas Lady Bluebell and the brand-new Coach House for 6 guests are both suited for guests with mobility difficulties, as they are on ground floor level with an en suite wet room. The Giddy Limit is a first-floor apartment for 6 and the dog-friendly Red Squirrel is ideal for couples.

All 6 properties have an open plan living area with a contemporary kitchen, sound system with Bluetooth connectivity and high speed Wifi, en suite facilities in all bedrooms and their own private balcony or terrace. There is car parking and guests can also hire the barbeque hut. We can also store bicycles in our secure sheds.

Relax in our new treehouse bird hide to see a variety of wildlife. There are also some lovely walks and cycle routes directly from Sandford, including to Wormit and Newport-on-Tay (around 4 miles), with views of the river and the rail bridge. There are also 45 golf courses in Fife, including the famous Old Course at St Andrews.
