Balgonar Estate

Balgonar Estate is a family-owned working farm offering 2 self-catering cottages in a beautiful and rural setting, near the village of Saline. Surrounded by open fields, woodland and lovely gardens, this accommodation provides an ideal base for exploring Fife, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, as well as Glasgow and the West Coast of Scotland.

The Garden Cottage is a 19th century stone cottage accommodating 6 guests. This traditional property was formerly the residence of the Estate Chauffeur. It has a wood burning stove in the lounge, a large fully-equipped kitchen with a dining table, 2 twins bedrooms, a double bedroom, bathrooms and private enclosed garden.

The Bothy is a studio-style bolthole for 2 people, nestled in a quiet corner of the farm. Beautifully converted from an old stone shed, it provides a cosy holiday home for couples, with an open plan living / sleeping area featuring a double bed, leather sofa, fitted kitchen and separate bathroom.

Both cottages have Wifi access and free private car parking. Dogs are welcome in the cottage by prior arrangement. Eggs and meat produced on the farm can be purchased and farm tours are available by arrangement.
