Dating back more that 840 years, the Oxenham Arms Inn is a beautiful and traditional grade 2 listed hotel and restaurant is steeped in history and has been lovingly restored to offer AA 4 Star Gold Awarded accommodation. The oldest heritage inn in Devon and Cornwall with Log Fires, wonderful food , great service and lovely atmosphere all set within 4 acres of grounds with superb views.

We have a good range of rooms, all with their own character and charm, individually designed and include original antique furniture and antiques pieces with many modern touches of luxury to enhance your stay. Our Superior Rooms are The Chagford Room and The Belstone Room, massive English Oak Canopy Four Poster Rooms with views up to Dartmoors Cosdon Beacon. All of the fabrics in our rooms including curtains and bed covers are hand made and hand sewn in the traditional way. We serve a delicious and hearty breakfast and our restaurant serves a great range of meals throughout the day, everything from light lunches and cream teas to our 3-course evening meals. We use only the freshest locally sourced ingredients and all of our foods are handmade on the premises by our chefs.

Located in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park and yet only 5 minutes off the A30 to Cornwall and just 25 mins from Exeter.
