The Crown and Anchor

The Crown and Anchor is a traditional village pub with guest rooms located in the pretty village of Ramsbury near Marlborough. A family-owned establishment serving local ales and great food, the pub is easily located off the M4 and we welcome walkers, cyclists and families.

The bedrooms are spacious and equipped with a fridge and tea / coffee-making facilities. Children and pets are allowed and overnight guests can enjoy a continental-style breakfast in the morning. The pub serves a range of classic British dishes, as well as homemade pizzas, with options for vegetarians and children.

Ramsbury is a pre-medieval village steeped in history and tradition in the picturesque and unspoilt Kennet Valley in the Marlborough Downs. There are shops and a brewery. Marlborough is 6 miles to the west and Hungerford only just over 4 miles to the east, with lots of scenic walks and cycling routes in and around the local area.
