The Blue Parrot

The Blue Parrot is a delightful self-catering cottage for 5 guests, situated along the estuary in Bawdsey near Woodbridge. Offering stunning views across the mouth of the River Deben and a stone’s throw from the waterfront, it provides a scenic holiday home for holidays, walks, cycling, water sports and wildlife-watching.

The cottage has an attractive lounge with a 3-piece suite, open fire, TV and dining table, plus a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washer / dryer. The master double bedroom overlooks the estuary and there is a triple room, single room and a bathroom. Outside are gardens front and back, and car parking.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Deben Peninsula, Bawdsey has a main street winding its way down to Bawdsey Quay with a tiny sandy beach at low tide and access across the mouth of the River Deben to the small village of Felixstowe Ferry via the seasonal foot and bicycle ferry.
