Brockford Railway Siding

Brockford Railway Siding offers a collection of unique self-catering accommodation refurbished from former railway carriages and station buildings in the beautiful Suffolk countryside near Stowmarket. Guests have access to a shared garden, children’s play area, swimming pool, tennis court and hot tub in the owner’s home just down the road. Cycling break packages are also available.

There are 2 railway carriages accommodating 2 to 6 guests; a former Guard’s van and Italian Carriage each sleeping 4; or The Station House which is a detached building sleeping 6. All have open plan living areas with small well-appointed kitchens, a double bed in the master bedrooms and a shower room. Wilby Halt can accommodate up to 5 guests with a triple bedroom in the small station building, another bedroom in the box wagon and living areas in the rail carriage, connected by the former platform.
