Carlton Meres Country Park

Carlton Meres Country Park is a fantastic gated holiday park situated in a scenic rural setting near Saxmundham in Suffolk. Offering luxurious self-catering lodges and caravans, glamping pods and a touring and campsite, facilities include a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, gym, playground, extensive grounds and fishing lakes.

There are a range of well-equipped caravans to choose from, each with a modern interior, central heating, double glazing, a comfortable living area, kitchenette, shower room and either 2 or 3 bedrooms sleeping from 4 up to 8 guests. Platinum Range Lodges have patio doors opening out onto a private decking area outside.

Camping Pods are available for glamping, sleeping up to 4 people; equipped with a double bed, set of bunk beds and dining table. As one of the largest caravan and camping sites in the UK, there is also plenty of space for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, with electric and non-electric pitches, and well-maintained shower / toilet blocks.

Saxmundham is an historic market town with a bustling high street. The town boasts a number of cafés, pubs and restaurants, along with a selection of independent shops. Carlton Meres is also within easy reach of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.
