The Angel

The Angel Hotel, Village Pub and Restaurant, on the market square in medieval Lavenham, dates back to the 15th century. The building retains rustic exposed timber frames and whitewashed walls. Stay overnight, sample home-cooked food and enjoy a pint of ale. Families, couples, walkers, cyclists and dogs are welcome.

All 8 guest bedrooms are completely individual, offering a mix of modern furnishings with the original architectural features. There are twin, super king rooms and family rooms which have attractive décor and are each equipped with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, Wifi access, a TV and hospitality tray.

Overnight guests are served a hearty homecooked English breakfast in the morning. Our lunches and evening meals are from a menu of British classics and there are options for vegetarian diets. Guests can enjoy a drink either in the friendly bar in front of the fire, or outside in the beer garden in fine weather.
