Hour Cottage

Hour Cottage is a charming Victorian-era property situated in the medieval village of Lavenham. A Grade II listed building which has been carefully converted into a well-equipped self-catering holiday home for up to 3 people, it is ideally placed near the historic marketplace, tourist information centre and shops.

The sitting room has a wood burning-effect electric stove in the original red brick fireplace, a Smart TV and Bluetooth sound system. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a washing machine / dryer. The king size bedroom features a TV and wrought iron fireplace, and there is a single room with space for a cot; plus a bathroom.

The cottage has central heating and free Wifi. There is also a split-level garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Lavenham has many interesting buildings including the Guildhall, which is now a museum, and the 14th century church. The village park is nearby and there are lovely walks and cycling routes in the surrounding countryside.
