Beaver Cottage

Beaver Cottage is a recently refurbished self-catering cottage attached to the large Cob House, on the outskirts of the Suffolk seaside town of Aldeburgh. Nestled in 11 acres of grounds that lead down to the Alde River and only a mile from the seafront, this well-equipped cottage provides a comfortable holiday home for up to 5 guests. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Furnished in a contemporary style, the accommodation features a spacious living room with a cosy wood burning stove, reclining sofa, satellite TV, DVD player, piano and dining table / chairs. There is also a fully-fitted kitchen including a dishwasher and washer / dryer. The bedrooms comprise a double, twin and a single room with space for an additional folding bed if required. The contemporary bathroom has a bathtub and shower over.

Guests have access to the surrounding 11 acres of land and a small beach down by the river from which you can fish and swim in the right tidal conditions. There are also a couple of kayaks that can be borrowed to explore the river and marshes. The garden is full of wildlife including woodpeckers, a Barn Owl, Muntjac deer, many rabbits and foxes and sometimes there are seals or otters spotted in the river.
