The Inglenook Hotel and Restaurant

The Inglenook Hotel and Restaurant is an historic 16th century, Grade II-listed building in the village of Nyetimber in West Sussex, within easy reach of Chichester, Pagham Harbour and the Goodwood Estate. Family-run, this hotel is full of charm and character; with a bar, restaurant, spacious outside area and 18 bedrooms.

The guest bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms, Hypnos beds, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen televisions with Freeview channels. Free Wifi is available in most rooms. Double, twin and single rooms are available and our Bridal Suites feature large Jacuzzi baths and 4-poster beds.

Oak beams and inglenook fireplaces create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere in the lounge and bar area, where our guests can sample a selection of excellent real ales and weekly seasonal guest ales, as well as find an extensive wine list, range of whiskies and liqueurs, plus soft drinks.

The restaurant, which opens onto the garden, is also open every day for lunch and dinner. There, guests can enjoy an à la carte menu, with dishes created using local and seasonal produce, including local line-caught fish with handpicked crabs and lobsters from Selsey. We also smoke our own fish and meats.

The gardens and patio provide dining space for up to 70 guests on our large well-furnished patio and 30 in the log store, and there is also a smoke house and wendy house. The picturesque garden with pond and arbour is at the rear of the property.
