The Shepherd's Hut

Welcome to The Shepherd’s Hut, offering bed and breakfast facilities on a farm in the beautiful South Downs. An authentic shepherds’ hut situated 5 miles outside of Brighton and on the South Downs Way, it provides a restful stopover for walkers, cyclists or those looking for a romantic escape. There is even stabling and a field for visiting horses.

There is a comfortable double bed, wood burning stove, table, chairs and a barbeque outside for al fresco dining. The bathroom is just a short walk across to the house and guests can also enjoy the beautiful garden. A complimentary breakfast made from fresh local ingredients will be served in the morning, with suppers and packed lunches also provided with prior agreement. There are many golf courses in the local area and the accommodation is only a few miles from the beaches along the coast of East Sussex. Lifts are available to and from the South Downs Way for walkers.
