The Flint Barns

Welcome to The Flint Barns, offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the Cradle Valley at the western end of Rathfinny Wine Estate near the town of Polegate in East Sussex. Situated on the South Downs, overlooking the vineyards on this family-owned estate, it provides a wonderfully relaxing and scenic location within easy reach of the seaside towns of Seaford and Newhaven.

The former flint barns have been sensitively refurbished to offer 10 stylish guest bedrooms and a beautiful dining room which houses the restaurant. All bedrooms feature contemporary en suite facilities, a double bed and seating area. Foldaway beds are available for children. There is also a lounge area and snug, with leather sofas and a wood burning stove.

The Vineyard Restaurant is situated on the ground floor and is open to the public for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday evenings; and breakfast daily, for Flint Barns residents only. Expect hearty, comforting and generous dishes prepared by Head Chef Chris Bailey and the team. Summer picnics can also be provided, and we offer vineyard tours and tasting packages.
