Old Mill Farm House

Welcome to Old Mill Farmhouse, a quiet and relaxing B&B, with mountain and lake views, on the southern tip of Trawsfynydd lake near Blaenau Ffestiniog. A 16th century farmhouse, with beautiful landscaped garden where you can watch model trains travelling around the tracks or visit the llamas and chickens. Owners Penny and Margaret offer warm hospitality; guests stay in comfortable self-contained accommodation which opens onto the courtyard and well-behaved dogs are welcome in five of the rooms.

The bedrooms are in the converted hay barn or old stables. Offering excellent facilities whilst retaining original features, all have en suite showers, a TV and beverage tray. There are 2 twin rooms, 3 double, two family room for 4 and 5 with double bed and bunk beds which is also suitable for less able guests and has wet room facilities, the Welsh Mountain Suite with a double and adjoining triple room, and our Snowy Peaks Room with 4-poster bed, seating area and double shower.

A full cooked Welsh breakfast or vegetarian breakfast is served in the main building in the morning. Guests can sit out in the gardens with the model railway. We have resident chickens and llamas. The local area is brimming with things to do and a 5-minute drive will take you to Coed y Brenin Forest visitor and mountain bike centre. With so much to see and do in the area you will really be spoiled for choice here!
