The Cross Keys Hotel

The Cross Keys Hotel is a 16th century former coaching inn located in the historic market town of Chatteris. We have 12 guest bedrooms, a public bar, restaurant and beer garden. Families and dogs are welcome. Weddings, special events and conferences can also be accommodated. David, Rebecca and the staff offer a warm welcome.

There are well-presented twin, double and 4-poster bedrooms available, in either the original old part of the building, or the newer first and second floor extension. Most have their own en suite facilities and 2 share the use of a modern bathroom. All of the bedrooms have a television, access to Wifi and a hospitality tray.

The restaurant serves an excellent range of dishes from a traditional British menu. The Cross Keys is interestingly on the convergence point of three ley lines (ancient tracks used for navigational purposes). There is private car parking and Chatteris is known as the Gateway to the Fens, renowned for its wildlife, quiet roads and network of rivers.
