The Golden Ball is a traditional 16th century thatched inn situated in the village of Boxworth between Cambridge and Huntingdon. Surrounded by open fields, yet easily located just one mile from the A14 road, there is ample car parking, a friendly and well-stocked bar, great food and a selection of 10 guest rooms.
The 10 bedrooms are in the separate annex; all offering a quiet and private location away from the main building. All but one of the rooms are on ground floor level offering en suite facilities, a double bed, TV, free Wifi and hospitality tray. A full English or continental breakfast is included to ensure a good start to the day.
The restaurant can sit up to 60 guests, with a private dining area available. All food is freshly made from the best of local ingredients, with daily specials and several options for vegetarian and vegan diets. The bar is well-stocked with wines, ciders, ales and spirits which can be enjoyed inside the bar or out in the garden.
