Rhydspence Inn

Dating from the 14th century, The Rhydspence Inn is located close to the England / Wales border in the Wye Valley, overlooking the Herefordshire countryside and Welsh hills. There are 2 bars with an open fire, a bar menu, restaurant and 7 guest bedrooms. There is ample on-site parking, and we are easily located off the A438 road.

Full of quirky features, including a half-timbered exterior, uneven floors and stone walls, we have been providing a haven for travellers throughout the centuries. An AA 4-Star Inn, also with an AA Rosette and Dinner Award, the restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals to all visitors and there is an extensive bar menu available. All food is made from locally sourced ingredients and the well-stocked bar provides a wide range of drinks.

The 7 guest rooms have individual character. Choose from Twin Ensuite, Double Ensuite, Double Deluxe Ensuite and our 4-poster Ensuite rooms; with a TV, Wifi, hospitality tray and stunning views. The guest rooms span the different ages of the building. The 4-Poster is in the 14th century original hall and there is a 17th century stone walled suite. The largest room has panoramic Wye Valley views on 3 sides. A delicious breakfast is included.
