Norton House B & B

Norton House B & B is a charming grade II listed former farmhouse offering a welcoming place to stay in the village of Whitchurch, 6 miles outside Ross-on-Wye. Dating back to the 16th century with an extension built in the early 18th century, it is full of charming features including flagstone floors, original pine shutters and beamed ceilings. AA 4-Star Gold Award rated, dogs are welcome too.

There are en suite bed and breakfast rooms, each with seating, a TV, Wifi, hairdryer and beverage tray. Doward has a king size 4-poster bed and Ross is a kingsize room with a sleigh bed.. A delicious breakfast is served in the morning to ensure a good start to the day. For self-catering, The Cider Loft is full of rustic charm with vaulted beamed ceilings spanning the open plan living area, equipped with a comfortable suite, dining table and kitchenette. There is also a double bedroom and a bathroom.

The House sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the A40 road conveniently close for access to Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, the Forest of Dean and many other attractions. The River Wye is only 10 minutes’ walk away. There are several walking books and maps available to use during your stay and owner Craig has lots of knowledge of the area to help guide you.
