The Harbour Lights

Ideally placed in the heart of Ilfracombe Harbour, Harbour Lights offers a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and a perfect base from which to explore the many attractions and activities in the area.

Dating back to 1895 and once a small Victorian hotel, The Harbour Lights now has nine en-suite bedrooms, all are fully equipped with central heating, digital TV, tea and coffee facilities and many extra little touches to ensure a wonderful stay with us. In the morning you can enjoy a traditional full English breakfast or vegetarian alternative, all freshly cooked to set you up for the day ahead.

The picturesque harbour is steeped in legends of pirates, wreckers and smugglers and has retained much of its old world charm. There are inns dating from the 15th century, narrow winding streets, colourful cottages, souvenir shops, galleries, tea rooms, a lifeboat station, aquarium, restaurants and breathtaking coastal scenery. The berth for the Lundy Island ferry is a 2 minute stroll from our front door. Coastal cruises and sea life safaris are available subject to tides and weather conditions.
