The Riverside at Aymestrey

The Riverside at Aymestrey is a 16th century inn nestled along the banks of the River Lugg in a village setting. An AA 4-Star rated inn with a 2 AA Rosette awarded restaurant, this black and white timber-framed property with a grand fireplace in the bar, is full of charm and character, nestled in the Herefordshire countryside, just on the southern edge of the Mortimer Forest, yet still close to Ludlow and Hereford.

The guest accommodation rooms include Suites, Kings, Snug Doubles and Garden Rooms. Each one has en suite facilities, complimentary luxury toiletries, a TV and well-stocked beverage tray with home-made biscuits. Higher spec rooms also have added extras including a Smart TV, mini bar and free-standing bathtub. A cooked English breakfast is included to ensure a great start to the day.

Guests can also enjoy superb meals in the award-winning restaurant, with dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients and produce from our kitchen garden wherever possible. Guests can also dine outside in the garden area and we have designated dog tables available. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks including hand-pulled real ales from Cleobury Mortimer and Stoke Lacey, plus cider from Tenbury Wells and Leominster.
