Fernhall Farm & Holiday Cottage

Fernhall Farm and Holiday Cottage are part of an organic beef farm set on National Trust land. The farm is situated just above the village of Brilley, 4 miles from Kington, along the England / Wales border and surrounded by 300 acres of meadows, ancient woodlands and open fields. Guests are amazed at the views stretching as far as the Malvern Hills, Black Mountains and Cotswolds.

The Holiday Cottage is a charming Grade II listed property attached to the main farmhouse. This historic cottage has beautiful exposed wooden beams adding to its charm and character. Sleeping 4 in a double and a twin bedroom, this property also has a lounge with TV and DVD player, fully-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, free Wifi and central heating. There is a private garden and car parking for 2 vehicles. A well-behaved dog is welcome.

The farm has its own herd of pedigree Dexter cattle, as well as ewes, chickens and Pygmy goats. Fresh eggs and our own beef can be bought from the farm when available. There are many beautiful walks around the local area and fishing along the Wye. Situated between Hay-on-Wye and Kington, we are close to Offas Dyke, the book town of Hay-On-Wye, Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park.
