Cottage Farm

Cottage Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated near Merbach, on a quiet country lane in Herefordshire, just 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and close to the England / Wales border. This is a quiet and scenic location surrounded by open fields, woodland, a natural pool and award-winning conservation area. Children are welcome.

Both of the guest rooms are on ground floor level. Each is spacious, with rustic beamed ceilings, a TV, free Wifi, comfortable seating and beverage tray. One of the rooms is a triple with double bed and a single bed and the other is a twin-bedded room. A bathroom is shared between the 2 rooms, which can be booked together to provide a family suite for 5 people.

A delicious breakfast is served in the upstairs kitchen / dining room, with lovely views in the morning; made from fresh local ingredients including eggs from our own hens. There is ample car parking and guests can explore the farm and meet our animals. Three walks can be started from our front gate and the farm is also adjacent to the Wye Valley Walk.
