Broomhill Farm Camping and Caravanning Site is a small and friendly Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site situated on a family-owned beef farm in the scenic Derbyshire village of Brackenfield, just 4 miles north-west of Alfreton and close to Ogston Reservoir. The surrounding area is very popular with outdoors enthusiasts.
Open all year around, catering for a small number of caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents, each pitch has an electric hook-up. There are also hot showers, toilets and a chemical disposal point on-site. Dogs are welcome. There is a pub 2 miles away and Alfreton has many shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
Ogston Reservoir is one of Derbyshire's premier bird-watching sites. Look out for shelduck, mandarin, teal, gadwall and common scoters. You may also see osprey and buzzard. There are footpaths climbing west into the countryside where you can enjoy views over the reservoir. The Peak District National Park is also nearby.
