High Fellgate Farm, located between Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands, is the longest established caravan site in the area. Surrounded by open fields and countryside, and less than a mile from the beautiful sandy beaches along Morecambe Bay, the setting is ideal for those interested in outdoors pursuits and touring the Lakes.
The campsite has hardstanding pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, as well as grass pitches for tents. There is a well-maintained clean shower / toilet block and a washing up area. Families with children are very welcome to stay and dogs are also allowed, as long as they do not upset the resident farm animals!
Grange Fell Golf Club is a 5-minute walk from the farm and there are plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés catering for a range of tastes in Grange-over-Sands. Cartmel has a Priory, racecourse and gourmet restaurants and the beautiful Lake District is famed for its scenery, fell walks and many attractions.
